Gerguly Kuklis, director
Emma Johnson, clarinet
Emma Johnson, surely Britain’s most popular clarinettist, plays Mozart’s bitter-sweet but ever popular Clarinet concerto. Alongside Respighi’s richly arranged dances is a rare chance to hear Vaughan Williams' evocative Lark Ascending and also a vivacious Haydn symphony in which the horns take centre stage in the last movement.
