How to Book Your Tickets

Book your tickets online

Use our new online booking facility
Simply click on the link Book your tickets online , select the show or performance you wish to see and follow the on-screen instructions to book your tickets.

You can now send your credit card details using our online booking facility - this system is fully secure and encrypted.

It’s that simple!

 

In Person

You can obtain your tickets yourself at the Queen's and at the Landmark Box Offices. Tickets can be bought at either theatre box office for performances at either theatre.

By Telephone

To book tickets for either theatre, telephone Barnstaple (01271) 32 42 42. If you're phoning from outside the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland, telephone your international access code followed by 44 1271 324242.

Telephone booking is available during Box Office opening hours.

Over the telephone you can reserve your tickets and collect them on payment at least 30 minutes before the performance.

If you pay over the telephone using VISA, MasterCard or Switch, your tickets can be collected at any time or we can post them to you for an extra £1.00.

Opening Hours

The Queen's Box Office in Barnstaple: 10:00 to 17:00 every day except Sunday. On performance evenings the Queen's Theatre Box Office remains open until 20 minutes after 'Curtain Up'

The Landmark Box Office in Ilfracombe: 10:00 to 17:00 every day including Saturday and Sunday. (For the Summer Season (until end of August) the Landmark Box Office is open 09:30-21:00. On performance evenings the Landmark Box Office remains open until 20:00.

Stand-By Tickets

Don't forget that for most shows stand-by tickets might be available. Tickets for any remaining unsold seats may be purchased for half of a top price ticket after 18:00 on the day of the performance (no further concessions apply). Please Note: For contractual reasons (between the theatre and the artist(s)), stand-by tickets are not always available - check with the Box Office first.

Booking Terms

North Devon Theatres welcomes all to experience or participate in a wide range of arts and performance related activities. North Devon Theatres will not exclude anybody from its work, unless they are deliberately interrupting others enjoyment through anti-social and/or intimidating behaviour.

Artists: Please note that all artists and programmes are subject to change without notice.

Admission: Nobody will be admitted to the auditorium without a ticket.

Reservations: Reservations, without payment, will be held for a maximum of 3 working days.

Refunds / Exchange: Once tickets have been paid for, they cannot be refunded except in the event of the show’s cancellation. However, if a performance is fully booked, we will try to re-sell your tickets. If we do manage to sell them, you will be charged 10 per cent for this service

Consequential Loss: In the event of a cancellation or amendment to our programme, we will make every reasonable endeavour to ensure customers are notified wherever possible. North Devon Theatres cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss incurred resulting from such a change.

Late Arrivals: Every effort will be made to admit latecomers as soon as a suitable break occurs, but admission is not guaranteed.

Babies / Toddlers: North Devon Theatres strongly advises parents not to bring children under two; however infants aged 18 months or under may be held on their parent or guardian’s lap for pantomime and all children’s events. In the interest of all our customers, an infant must remain on the accompanying adult’s lap at all times throughout the performance.

To minimise disruption to other patrons, crying infants must be taken from the auditorium immediately.

Babies/Young Children must be carried in the auditorium as car seats, pushchairs, etc cannot be brought in for safety reasons.

Unaccompanied Children: Unaccompanied children of 12 years and over are welcome at most performances (except those with an age guidance limit indicated).

Parents must ensure that if children are attending without a parent/guardian that they have safe travel to and from the theatre.

Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Changes: This website is correct at the time of publishing; North Devon Theatres reserves the right to make such alterations as may become necessary.

Discounts and Concessions

Discount, or concession, prices are shown in parentheses in the performance details. These apply to:

  • Children aged 16 or under
  • Full-time students
  • People aged 60 or over
  • People registered as unemployed
  • People registered as having a disability.

We may, of course, ask for proof of eligibility for any of these concessions.
