Gold Business Associates - North Devon Orthodontic Centre keep us posted...

Gold Business Associates – North Devon Orthodontic Centre give us an update on what’s new...

We are more than six months into our business association with the North Devon Theatres’ Trust and our relationship is thriving.  North Devon Theatres have supported us by providing an excellent venue for small team meetings as well as larger BDA events – our recent training evening with Professor James Prichard, run by and for local dentists, was hugely appreciated and received very positive feedback with 70% of attendees commenting the facilities were “overall very good”.

Here at North Devon Orthodontic Centre, we admire the passion and enthusiasm the staff and volunteers at North Devon Theatres have for their community, providing resources that inspire and educate across the generations.  This is an ethos that we, as an organisation, share.  To this end, our wonderful team of staff have pledged to develop yet further our fund-raising activities for local charities, in particular the North Devon Hospice and Children’s Hospice South West.

To this end, we will be participating in a number of exciting charity events this year and supporting many more. More than half of our staff will be taking part in Absolute Training and Nutrition’s 24hr Pedal Power challenge in April, supporting the amazing work of the North Devon Hospice. Training has already begun for this.  Then in May we are reliably informed that one of our illustrious team of staff is going to be taken prisoner in Children’s Hospice South-West’s ‘Jail and Bail’ event!  Moving onto July and we have confirmed entrants in CHSW’s gruelling 3 day ‘Ride for Precious Lives’.  Autumn will see a less gruelling charity afternoon tea and in November, with details to be confirmed, we are hoping to run a glittering ball.

We are delighted that it is no longer unusual for an adult to wear a brace and we have helped hundreds of adults develop the smile they want; perfect for Lights, Camera, Action!  We have even helped patients colour coordinate the braces they are wearing to suit the production or event they are in.  We look forward to seeing many more of our adult and children patients involved with the theatres, if not on the stage, then in the audience.
