A striking contrast to his work with Acoustic Ladyland, pianist Tom Cawley has created a brilliant trio that draws on romantic classical music as much as on modern jazz, with melodic, fiery, serene and intense compositions. Curios received rave reviews last year when they supported Wayne Shorter at the Barbican as did their debut CD Hidden.
