Wendy May’s Barnstaple Comedy Club presents a laugh a minute line-up, anyone who has already sampled one of these nights will know what great fun is in store.

A regular on Live at the Apollo, John Bishop, draws his material from life’s experiences, from fatherhood to cycling around the world, to playing semi-professional football, to working as a nightclub doorman. He has been named Best Newcomer by BBC Radio Merseyside and won the North West Comedy Award for best stand-up.

Colin Owens is an effusive act beneath a mop of scraggly hair.  His ability to tell a good comedy story was enough to win him the ‘Jimmy Carr Comedy idol’ finals and he subsequently performed with him at Bloomsbury Theatre, on his DVD and in TV sketches. He now performs at comedy clubs across the UK as well as being resident mc in his home town of Southampton.
