Are you aged between 11 and 19?
Are you interested in a career in the arts?
How would you like the opportunity to gain hands on experience in exploring the core elements of the running North Devon Theatres?
Young Producers is a North Devon Theatres’ youth arts initiative aimed at giving young people aged 11-25 the opportunity to gain an overview of all the different job roles within the theatres whilst pursuing their own creative interests. It is made up of three core groups (Bronze Producers, Silver Producers and Gold Producers) who work both as individuals and in teams to achieve a series of creative objectives whilst working towards the Arts Award nationally recognised qualifications.
Bronze Producers are supported in taking an active part in the arts as well as experiencing the arts as audience members.
Silver Producers plan and achieve a personal challenge in their chosen arts area as well as working as part of a leadership team to plan, publicise and deliver an arts event.
Gold Producers broaden and extend their own arts activity as well as gaining experience of an art from or genre which is new to them and take individual responsibility for planning and running an arts project.
Currently we are running Bronze and Silver Producers independantly through our work experience scheme but will resume intake and applications in September 2015.
Gold Producers will run independently and on completion of the Silver award.
